Dominic LoRiggio is a world renowned gambler who is most famous as a master craps player. He made an enormous impact on casino craps ambling with his controlled shooting strategy which gets dice to roll and land in a favorable manner. When he had practiced enough, he hit Vegas as part of a group called the Rosebud and was soon breaking Casino banks. On one occasion he won $27,000 on a single sitting, after going for a 53 minute roll without sevenning out. He soon left the Rosebud, feeling that they were too conservative, and teamed up with another professional craps shooter Frank Scoblete. Over the years, they made hundreds of thousands of dollars together.

Although the Golden Touch Craps is not illegal, casinos frown upon it. LoRiggio branched out and started his own business with Scoblete to teach people how to throw dice. They authored several books on the subject augmenting their already swollen fortune. Ironically, LoRiggio would also help casinos identify controlled shooters, who would then be forced to change their technique. LoRiggio is mostly known for his craps prowess but he also plays poker, Blackjack competently among other games. As a free range gambler, he has entered more than 200 tournaments and mostly finishes among the top 20%. He has also co-authored a book on Blackjack advantage play and Pai Gow poker.

LoRiggio refuses to consider himself a gambler saying, ““I’m an advantage player. Gamblers are thrill seekers. An advantage player has an edge over the house based on skill and a thorough knowledge of the game, that’s why we win. The gambler only has luck on their side, that’s why they lose.”
