The hotel is an anomaly when you consider the country that it can be found in. The Democratic Republic of Congo has a rich history, and it could possibly have a rich future if all the political grief, the corruption and the civil war can cease, and if it does more resorts along the lines of the Grand Hotel Kinshasa might open up.
