Reptoids, released on November 23, 2017, is a Yggdrasil Gaming’s alien conspiracy-inspired casino game. Its game description hails it as a playful reverse time-travel to the alien theories of the 1960s, and the plot is about a fictitious expose involving aliens masquerading as administrative personnel.
Reptoids is named after the featured alien shape-shifting reptiles, just like Fruitoids (Yggdrasil, May 2014) is named after its own alien fruits. Like Reptoids, the alien theme is also in Yggdrasil’s Cazino Cosmos (January 2019), although the concept of an alien invasion and attempted global takeover is alternatively found in Super Heroes (Yggdrasil, October 2016).
Reptoids’ rivals include the Sneak a Peek series from Microgaming, Alien Farm Invasion from mFortune, and Alien Spinvasion from Rival Gaming. The Reptoids players match three, four, or five administrative personnel or insignias.

A mobile frame, the so-called Repto Detector, conducts imaging to smoke out pretending reptoids that it then turns into Wilds. A scatter coin might end up in the Repto Detector, thereby activating seven free spins; while imaging all six aliens offers six extra spins.
Reptoids has a non-progressive jackpot of $500,000 (equivalent to the scatters symbols’ highest payout of 5000X the $100 maximum bet). The good software has an uncluttered interface. The animated graphics are colorful and have a vintage feel, especially the humans smoothly shape-shifting into aliens on the grid (embedded on a dotted world map) of the green old school slot machine, fitted with siren lights. The sounds are otherworldly, especially the aliens mumbling inaudibly and the frequency oscillation sound effects.
