The other video slots in the Pocketz Series are listed by their release dates: Stick ‘Em (September 2019), Om Nom (November 2019), Miami Multiplier (November 2019), My Lucky Number (March 2020), The Haunted Circus (May 2020), Cash Compass (June 2020), The Respinners (August 2020), and The Bomb (September 2020).
Cubes’ rival games include: Color Cubes (February 2017) from IGT, Cube Mania Deluxe (June 2018) from Wazdan, and Rubik’s Riches (July 2013) from Playtech. All Cubes’ symbols require winning combinations that comprise of clusters of five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, or 25+ cubes.
Cubes Game Characteristics
When the Cubes game loads, it initially shows a celled 5X5 grid that consists of green cubes on a gray background. Players are prompted to “press to continue”, where the first spin reveals the differently colored cuboids. During gameplays, the grid’s dynamic dimensions can progressively expand to reach 11X11.
It lacks paylines; instead, 5+ similar symbols that form regular or irregularly shaped clusters constitute winning combinations. There are six different cuboids, sixteen total bets, win multipliers, expandable grid, one set of free games, sticky symbols, bonus game, neither substituting wilds nor side game, and regularly pays from $0.02 to $4000.00.
Cubes has six ordinary symbols only: green cuboid, yellow cuboid, red cube, sky blue cuboid, purple cuboid, and royal blue cuboid. The Cubes bet sizes: $0.20 (minimum bet), $0.40, $0.60, $0.80, $1.00, $2.00, $4.00, $6.00, $8.00, $10.00, $15.00, $20.00, $25.00, $50.00, $75.00, and $100.00 (maximum bet).
Each bet size has its own set of payouts. Note: every set of cluster has a similar payout across all cuboids. Example: below are the Cubes payouts for five to 25+ clustered winning combinations, based on the $100.00 bet.
Five, six, seven, eight, and nine clusters pay $10.00, $20.00, $30.00, $150.00, and $300.00. Ten or eleven clustered pay $400.00. Twelve, or thirteen, or fourteen clustered pay $900.00. Fifteen, or sixteen, or seventeen, or eighteen, or nineteen clustered pay $2400.00. Twenty, or twenty-one, or twenty-two, or twenty-three, or twenty-four clustered pay $3200.00. And 25+ clustered pay $4000.00.
Back-to-back wins expand the grid thrice. The first winning combination expands the original 5X5 grid to a 7X7 grid whose winning combination then expands it to a 9X9 grid whose, in turn, winning combination ultimately expands it to an 11X11 grid. Except in the free games, the grids’ dimensions revert to 5X5 if there are no subsequent back-to-back wins or after the spin with the 11X11 grid.
The “X” on the centermost cuboid displays the awarded win multiplier only if that cuboid is involved in a cluster of winning combinations and the number of clustered symbols determines the multiplier. For instance, if the central cuboid is among five clustered similar symbols, it displays an X5 win multiplier…eight clustered similar symbols, it displays an X8; however, the win multipliers are capped at X22.
Five simultaneous winning combinations (each of the five sets must have unique cuboids) in one spin unlock ten free games. Before the free games begin, players select one of the six orange “?” boxes, which then reveals the designated sticky cuboid throughout the free games. The locked cuboid’s cluster can form a 70-of-a-kind, thereby unlocking the color blast bonus that awards X2500—if the bet is $100, then this bonus can be up to $250000.00. However, the starting page claims its non-progressive jackpot exceeds X3000, which (100X3000) is above $300000.00.
The appealing Cubes’ software has a simple interface that is fitted with a turbo button, comprehensive user guide, and on/off sounds (drumming and swish). Suitable for both desktops and mobile platforms; there are 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 500, and 1000 batches of autospins. The customizable autoplay’s preset loss limits are “5X bet”, “20X bet”, “50X bet”, and “no limit”, while the single win limits are“10X bet”, “20X bet”, “75X bet”, and “no limit”.
