Gears of Time—formally titled Miles Bellhouse and the Gears of Time—is a time machine-oriented html5 video slot whose protagonist is a fictitious physicist called Miles Bellhouse who is modeled on the German-American physicist Albert Einstein. Developed by Betsoft Gaming and released on November 5, 2020; this non-payline game revolves around Bellhouse’s time travel experiment. Its prequel is titled Curious Machine (December 2012). Thematic elements: general relativity, theoretical physics, science fiction, retrofuturism, futurism, illusion, time warp, and space-time.
The Betsoft-owned A Christmas Carol (January 2019) has ghostly time travelling too. However, the other scientific experimental games from the developer are Mad Scientist (January 2011), Madder Scientist (December 2011), and Frankeinslot’s Monster (March 2016). Gears of Time’s rival games include Time Machine Creator (May 2018) from Capecod Gaming, Tales of Time Travel (June 2019) from Genii, and Time Voyagers (April 2014) from Genesis.
Seven symbols (scientist Bellhouse, robot, timepiece, time portal, golden cogwheel, silver cogwheel, and bronze cogwheel) require between three and 25 clustered combinations in golden cells that shift at random.
Gears of Time Game Characteristics
Gears of Time is set on a brick warehouse’s mild steel staircase, wherein its celled black 5X5 grid is embedded on an extensive time-bending golden piping system that is fitted with four cogwheels.
