Columbus Treasure

Columbus Treasure is from Casino Technology; its themes include treasure hunting, exploring, and Spanish conquest. Some of its rival games are Sails of Gold (April 2016) from Play’n GO, Golden New World (February 2017) from BF Games, and Gonzo’s Quest (November 2013) from NetEnt.

Columbus Treasure is a video slot game of adaptation of famed Italian explorer Christopher Columbus’ treasure-hunting adventures in South America between 1490s and early 1500s. The Columbus Treasure players require three, four, or five matching symbols.

Columbus Treasure Game Characteristics
Columbus Treasure has a 5X3 grid, ten adjustable pay lines, a gamble feature, X50 maximum bet multiplier, a win multiplier, two substitutes, two sets of coin values, two Wilds, up to 1000 automated rounds, and indefinite free games.

The twelve Columbus Treasure symbols have three special symbols and nine ordinary symbols. The special symbols are: Christopher Columbus with a goatee beard, and dressed in blue-and-purple clothes and a brown hat—he is both a Wild and substitute; a muscled and clean-shaved Red Indian warrior with a feathered head and folded arms, and wearing a green vest—he is also a Wild and a substitute; and free games-offering golden Mayan ruins (scatter).

The Columbus Treasure ordinary symbols are: a gray-haired Spanish aristocrat dressed in medieval clothes; a white-haired and bearded navigator dressed in blue and holding a sextant; a red-haired sailor aboard a ship gazing at the horizon; a sexy native young woman dressed in brown-and-blue clothes and carrying a clay water pot; a conquistador holding a sword and eying suspiciously; a yellow A on a brown scroll; a red K on a scroll; a green Q on a scroll; and a blue K on a scroll.

After Columbus Treasure software loads, the slot players are asked, “play with sounds?”; whereby they mute or unmute. Afterwards, the players are prompted to long press the play icon to activate the autoplay feature.

One set of Columbus Treasure coin values has: $0.05, $0.10, $0.20, $0.30, and $0.40. The other set has: $0.25, $0.50, $1.00, $1.50, and $2.00. The pay lines options can only be 1, 3, 5, 7, or 10. The autoplay options are 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, and 1000. The minimum bet is $0.05 while the maximum bet is $20.00.

Based on the $20.00 maximum bet, the following are the Columbus Treasure payouts for three, four, and five winning combinations, respectively. The “Wild” Christopher Columbus pays $200.00, $1000.00, and $20000.00. The gray-haired aristocrat offers $50.00, $500.00, and $2000.00. Either the bearded navigator or the red-haired sailor has $20.00, $150.00, and $500.00. Either the sexy young woman, or the doubtful conquistador pays $14.00, $100.00, and $200.00. Either A, or K, or Q, or J pays $10.00, $30.00, and $50.00.

Three, four, and five Mayan ruins offer five, ten, and 25 free games, which can accumulate progressively. The Red Indian warrior is X5 win multiplier. The gamble feature is only applicable to winnings under X10 of the bet; it is about guessing at the red/black colors of the playing cards (doubles the stake if correct) or exact suits (X4 the stake if correct). The non-progressive jackpot of Columbus Treasure is 10000 coins.

The Columbus Treasure software is good, with buttons at the grid’s corners; the sounds are interesting, including the sword battle sound effect and the magical ambient music. The graphics are awesome, including the American jungle, animated caricatures, and medieval brown color scheme.
