English Premiership Tips 11 Dec – 13 Dec

written by Bookie Bill

Bookie Bill back with my picks for the $10k wager on our English Premiership Betting Tips with Dealer Dan. Not a great week for Dan last week, so let’s get on to my English Premiership tips this week and get some ground back.

Aston Villa to beat West Brom @ 23/20

Aston Villa looked unbelievably bad against Liverpool at the start of the week, but their home form is a lot better than their away form. Having only lost once at home in the league this season, seeing Aston Villa odds-against to beat West Brom is too good an offer to turn down.

Newcastle to beat Liverpool @ 3.6

This will no doubt be a controversial decision, but Liverpool’s away form, regardless of any resurgence, is shocking. They’ve one once at home in the league, scoring 5 times on their travels. Newcastle, last season, made St James’ Park a fortress and although it’s not quite the same this season, they are a team that can be tough to break down at home. Plus, a new manager always tends to lift a team, so the price is a bit too big, in my opinion.

Bolton vs Blackburn over 2.5 goals @ 19/20

Bolton, at home, are averaging 3.5 goals per home game. It’s the fourth highest average in the Premiership and they have a solid team that’s going places. Blackburn have a huge 3.625 goals per away game. Now, they is skewed by the 7-1 defeat from Manchester United, but they were still averaging 3 goals per away game before that. The like to play more attacking football on their travels and this is a game I could see being high scoring.

Manchester United vs Arsenal over 2.5 goals @ 9/10

Manchester United, at home, are scoring for fun. They’re averaging the most goals per home game in the Premiership and they’re hosting a team that also love to play attacking football. These two teams have the second and third highest average goals per game ration in the Premiership, only behind Blackpool.

Their two meetings last season both went over 2.5 goals. In fact, only one of the last six league matches between these two teams has finished under 2.5 goals, so this would be a good way to get the new week started.
