Poor Bookie Bill. He’s the “Liverpool” of the Sports Gambling World it seems. When he challenged me to the $10k Challenge he was full of so much confidence, and expected to put his handicapping “skills” to good use.
A couple of months in and I’m ready to change his name from “Bookie Bill” to “Suicidal Bill”.
Here’s the current stats:
Dan: (5-4) +7.11 units
Bookie Bill: (4-16) -10.29 units
Even two 0-4 weeks in a row from me and I am still 9 units ahead of him. Shocking. Absolutely shocking
Chelsea Clean Sheet @ 1.74
Wolves visit Stamford Bridge having scored just 3 goals away all season. Even worse, Chelsea haven’t conceded a goal in 4 home matches. Honstly this bet is an absolute steal, and I am stunned at the odds here. True odds should be about 1.3. Bet it, and bet it large.

Man Utd to beat Stoke @ 1.73
This is one where we could even take on a handicap or something even more ambitious, however I do like to play it safe. Despite their bad form, Man Utd are playing Stoke after a nice, relaxing home win in Europe, plus the signing of Wayne Rooney to a Man Utd contract. I expect Man U to breeze through this one, and end up with a 2-0 or even 3-0 victory, picking up their first away win of the season..

Man City/Arsenal Under 2.5 @ 1.93
It seems a lot of the games involving the big teams either end up a goalscoring fest, or a dull fest. I’m looking at this game to be the latter. I can see Arsenal coming looking for the point, and I don’t think City will be able to break them down.

Newcastle/West Ham Over 3.5 goals @ 3.7
My risky bet of the week. Newcastle have scored 12 goals so far this season, while also conceding 12. West Ham leak goals too. I’m looking for both teams to open up a nice open game here, which will result in a goalfest.
