The 2010 Ryder Cup begins this Friday and as always there is plenty of different bets to win some money on. However don’t go crazy betting everything yet – follow our betting tips and we’ll steer you into profit.
Two early bets that stick out are:
Luke Donald to be the top wildcard @ 4/1
You can currently get those odds at Bovada.
Of the 7 wilcards this year, Donald is the one most suited to Ryder Cup play.
A very accurate driver (65%), solid Greens in Regulation (70.8%) and excellent putting,
makes him an ideal player in both fourballs and foursomes. He can very likely play in all 5 matches this weekend.
Of the other 6 wildcards, its unlikey that Harrington and Cink will play all the matches, while Molinari is already missing the morning fourballs. Ricky Fowler will also not play many of the matches either, while Zack Johnson is a solid player depending on who is partners will be.
So that leaves Tiger Woods(9/4 Bovada) as the only other opponent. He is likely to play all 5 matches too, but I fancy Donald at 4/1 in a two horse race.

The second bet is the third match of the morning fourballs.
Ian Poulter and Ross Fisher are 15/8 to beat Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker.
These odds are available at Bovada.
Stricker and Woods won all 4 matches they played together in the Presidents Cup, but Poulter was the top European scorer in 2008.
Ross Fisher is an excellent matchplayer, as proven with his 2009 Volvo Matchplay Championship win.
