Bet: The amount a player wagers on a hand of pai gow poker.

Four-of-a-kind: Four cards of the same rank in one hand.
High card: The lowest ranking for a hand. It is classified by the highest ranking card in your hand. The hand K-10-5-4-2 would be classified as King-high.
Joker: In pai gow poker, this is an unranked card that can be used to make up straights of flushes in pai gow poker. If not used to make up a straight or a flush, it is ranked as the highest card not represented.
Pair: Two cards of the same rank in the same hand.
Player: This is you; this is the hand that you will play. The player is up against the banker and no-one else at the table.
Push: When the dealer wins one hand and the player wins the other hand in pai gow poker.
Royal Flush: Five cards of the same suit go sequentially from 10 to the Ace. For example, 10s-Js-Qs-Ks-As.
Straight: Five cards that go in ascending/descending sequence. For example, 5-6-7-8-9.
Straight Flush: Five cards of the same suit that goes in ascending/descending sequence. For example, 5h-6h-7h-8h-9h.
Three-of-a-kind: Three cards of the same rank in one hand.
Two pair: Two different pairs in one hand.
