One thing that is prevalent in most online businesses is the ability to refer a friend to the business and receive some sort of profit from that referral and recommendation.

Many online companies will also offer a refer a friend promotion that accommodates both you, and the friend that you referred. Perhaps something simple like refer a friend to a clothing store, and you both get 10% off your next order.

Online poker rooms often offer refer-a-friend programs, where you can earn a bonus for the referral. First – one thing you may want to consider is signing up for the online casino’s affiliate program. Especially if you are looking to refer a lot of friends.

An affiliate program makes you a marketing partner of that casino. You don’t have to be a business to sign up either; any regular person can sign up.

So how an affiliate program works is you get a special link. Anyone that signs up with that tracking link is tracked under you. The online casino them will pay you money for referring them after they deposit.

How the online casino pays you is dependent on the actual online casino. Some may only offer revenue share where you receive a percentage – usually 30% – of the player who you referred losses. The other option is CPA which stands for cost per acquisition and they pay you for any real money players you refer.

In either circumstance, players you referred will not receive any sort of referral bonus. So that is something to bear in mind. Only you will actually profit from it. That can include you profiting off your friend’s losses!

If you don’t want to muck about with the whole affiliate side of things then don’t worry – most online casinos also offer up a nice and simple refer a friend program.

This can vary greatly depending on the online casino. One online casino, VIP Casino, gives a $50 casino bonus to you for referring a friend when they deposit at least $10. They receive a $10 bonus and it has a fairly low playthrough of 5x.

Another casino called Canplay requires a deposit of at least $25 AND them wagering at least $25. Then you get a $50 casino bonus while your friend receives 10 bonus spins.

As always any funds you receive are usually tied to a wagering requirement.

Then there are online casinos that will give you $5 just for referring people whether they deposit or not. Then when they do deposit, you get a match bonus.

There are a lot of different refer-a-friend bonuses available so it is worth checking them all out if you are looking to refer a lot of friends.

Although as noted you may wish to go the affiliate route instead. Some casinos will require you to have a website for that though so you may need to set up a blog and write a bit about the online casino.
