Lucky Diamonds Slot

Lucky Diamonds, which first appeared in April 2015, is a slot game made by Play’n GO. It is easy to confuse Lucky Diamonds with Triple Diamond Slots from International Game Technology since the two online games have a nearly similar appearance and share majority of their symbols. Play’n GO’s other diamond-inspired slot is called Mermaid’s Diamond.

The term “Lucky Diamonds” indicates the game’s three blue diamonds that, luckily, can be aligned on the pay line, thereby offering the highest payout or acting as multipliers. Meanwhile, Lucky Diamonds players can still win if at least one bunch of strawberries, two bunches of strawberries, or three different/matching BARs and other symbols align on the pay line.

Lucky Diamonds Game Characteristics
Described as a high-volatility html5 game by Play’n GO, Lucky Diamonds has three reels and two rows (3X2 layout). Lucky Diamonds has six symbols that can be used in nine different ways namely: a blue diamond, number 7, pink triple BAR, yellow double BAR, light blue single BAR, and a bunch of (has three berries) strawberries.

A page that contains information about the blue diamond acting as a 2X or 4X multiplier whenever one or two diamonds show up welcomes Lucky Diamonds players. The “Continue” icon takes players to the interface, wherein the coin value and number of coins are set. Once ready, players click the bigger green circular icon on the bottom right to spin; the adjacent smaller dark yellow icon is for the auto play settings.

Lucky Diamonds accepts $0.50 minimum bet (using the lowly $0.50 coin value and 1 coin) and $15.00 maximum bet (using the highly $5.00 coin value and all 3 coins). $1.00 is the only other coin value, while using 2 coins is the only other coins option.

Lucky Diamonds has these payouts for its one coin, two coins, and three coins, respectively. One bunch of strawberries has 2, 4, and 6, while two bunches of strawberries have 5, 10, and 15. A combination of single BAR, double BAR, and triple BAR offer 5, 10, and 15. Three bunches of strawberries have 10, 20, and 30.

Three matching light blue single BARs have 10, 20, and 30. Three matching yellow double BARs give 25, 50, and 75. Three matching pink triple BARs offer 40, 80, and 120. When “777” is aligned on the pay line, the offer is 80, 160, and 240. The name-inspiring blue diamonds offer 800 and 1600 for one coin and two coins, respectively. Lucky Diamonds’ highest regular payout is 2500 for three diamonds.

In its corporate website, Play’n GO’s game specifications of Lucky Diamonds mention a non-progressive jackpot amounting to 10000. If so, then the 10,000 figure means: the highest regular payout for three diamonds (2500) multiplied by two wild diamonds whose offer is 4X; ironically, the Lucky Diamonds pay table states that 4X is not applicable when three diamond symbols show up.

Lucky Diamonds’ classic sounds and graphics blend in with the game features that can be seen at a glance—except for the user guide and auto play settings— in its old school menu-based interface.
